Balancing Fryer and Utility Circuits to Restore Performance

Thermal fluid system supporting four frying lines

The Challenge

One of four frying lines was experiencing reduced performance.
The temperature difference across the heater had reduced, and differential pressure between flow and return lines was below OEM recommendations.

The Solution

TFS identified that the pressure relief valve was passing and reset the spring setting.
The bypass at the end of the line was reduced to increase flow through the fryers, while maintaining safe flow across the heaters.
The system was properly balanced across utility and fryer circuits.

The Result

  • Fryer performance restored
  • System rebalanced safely
  • OEM operating parameters re-established
  • No major shutdown required

Nobody else was interested in a drop off from the fryer performance. TFS were able to look at the utility and fryer circuits and balance the system properly.
