Is Your Thermal Oil Boiler MCPD Compliant?
Thermal Fluid Solutions (TFS) are working in collaboration with AMP Clean Energy to offer free replacement biomass thermal oil boilers in accordance with Government legislation.
The Medium Combustion Plant Directive (MCPD) was introduced as part of the UK Government’s environmental legislation to improve air quality, reduce air pollution from medium combustion plants and generators, along with creating a cleaner and healthier environment.
The MCPD Directive introduces the emission controls on existing plants in 2025 and 2030. The timescales of which are dependent on size and monitoring equipment between 1MW – 50MW.
AMP Clean Energy is offering an initiative to enable combustion plants to become compliant with MCPD legislation. The scheme focuses on funding business’ thermal oil heaters to replace ageing or non-environmental compliant units though an efficient energy buy-back scheme. The new heaters will be installed by expert biomass engineers from AMP Clean Energy.
As part of the offering, businesses can also benefit from the expertise and experience from the team at TFS who have been helping businesses to cut operational costs, improve workplace safety and reduce their impact on the environment concerning thermal fluids for more than 20 years.
With TFS’ complex diagnostic testing and analysis service, the team are able to identify problems with thermal fluids before they cause system damage, resulting in reduced maintenance and thermal fluid replacement costs, along with improved workforce safety and system reliability.
